Help With Pain Management

I joined MAP Movement to help with pain management, especially in my hands and feet. It has helped tremendously, and I have learnt a lot! I continue with semi-private classes because there’s always something new and it keeps me thinking about my body instead of ignoring it.

Neck Problems That Didn't Go Away

I was in a bumper bashing and had neck problems that didn't go away with physio on its own. I started in-studio MAP Movement classes 3years ago and within 6month no neck pain at all.

Battled with Lower Back Pain

I always feel great after a MAP Movement class with Martina! I have battled with lower back pain since my pregnancy and MAP really helps release and work out all of the sore spots. It's an awesome and different type of exercise focusing on correct movement of your body, with some real 'muscle-burning' movements. I'm a busy mom with a full time job, so the online classes have been a perfect way to ensure I am still able to fit in some scheduled exercise - all from the comfort of my own home. Would definitely recommend the online classes!

Manage Flare-Ups

My MAP Movement journey with Martina started almost four years ago when I was looking for in-person classes in Die Wilgers while pregnant with my second little one. With a history of a degenerated disc in my lower back, Martina's classes and individual sessions have been lifesaving in helping me manage flare-ups and to grow stronger and more capable. Martina has a knack for pinpointing those perfect exercises to suit each person's needs and shows incredible compassion and knowledge for each individual situation. MAP with Martina has become such an important part of my life that I now move my calendar around to make sure I don't miss a class!

Struggling with Knee and Hip Pain

I live in Taiwan and was over the moon when I heard Martina offers online MAP Movement classes. Now I’m able to join in on classes from the other side of the world from the comfort of my home. I was struggling with knee and hip pain when running and was hoping MAP Movement classes would help. So far it has been well worth my time. I have seen an incredible improvement. Not only has the pain improved but it’s also a great tool to prevent any future injuries from happening. Thank you, Martina!

Neck and Lower Back Pain

MAP Movement has provided me with a strong foundation to build from. I have been mapping for 4 years. When I first started out, my health was not optimal, and I was not in a good way. I suffered from neck and lower back pain. As time went on, I started to gain the confidence and strength to take on new challenges. Today, I run Marathons, something I have never even thought about before I started out. I measured 178cm back when I started. Today I am 180cm. The proof is in the pudding. MAP Movement has amplified my life in ways I never thought possible. I am eternally grateful. MAP Movement is for everyone. You will not look back.

Upper Back Pain

I started MAP Movement in 2019 with in person classes once a week. I was struggling a lot with upper back pain due to my kyphosis as well as headaches. Physio and chiro treatment only provided me with short term relief, and I knew I needed a long-term relief. I heard about MAP and did some research on it and knew that this is something that might bring me this relief. MAP Movement for me could definitely be defined as the most amazing process. It changed my life or rather quality of life so much. I can move without restriction, go through the day without a headache and just be much more comfortable. After just a few months I could notice an improvement in my kyphosis and this was really a great improvement for me as this really bothered me a lot, not just the pain but also how my back looked and the fact that everyone could see it. The tips and tricks that I've learned and could incorporate in my everyday life also made a big difference and aided in my "healing". I can definitely recommend MAP Movement to each and everyone. No matter the problem, MAP Movement is your solution. Having a great instructor also makes the process much better, and I am very grateful for Martina and all her knowledge and passion for MAP Movement.

Life Changing Experience!

Being a mom of 2 young girls and a music teacher for little ones I always considered myself to be active and quite mobile/flexible...until my MAP Movement journey began. I honestly started mapping to see what the hype was about and two years later I am hooked to say the least. I have learned to listen to my body, to move & breathe intentionally and to be grateful for what my body does for me each and every day. I have also built strength, posture and flexibility I never knew was in me. Such a life changing experience!

Injured Back

I injured my back on my 19th birthday in February 2021. After rounds of physiotherapy and medication, I was still in constant pain with very limited mobility. My physiotherapist and orthopedic surgeon suggested Martina's MAP Movement sessions. I joined Martina's in person classes in May 2021. Since then, my mobility has improved immensely, and the pain is minimal. Therefor I am continuing with the classes as it has improved my overall quality of life and I will recommend it to anyone in the same situation.
